If you’re going to have a dynamic, well attended Gathering - you will have to share what’s happening in your life with the people in your world! Seems simple enough, right? But you may find yourself forgetting to share. If that’s the case, I have a great way to fix your forgetting, and help remind yourself to keep sharing. It’s called The 2 Question Cue.

The 2 Question Cue is simply the 2 most frequently asked questions people ask when starting a conversation.

They are:

  1. How are you doing? (how are things going?, and the like), and . . .
  2. What’s new? (what you been up to?)

When people ask you either of these 2 questions, let that be your cue to share what’s happening and extend a warm invitation. After your conversation, it only takes a quick follow up email, text, or phone call to share the time and place. Pretty simple huh? I think so!

So the next time you start up a conversation, just remember, it's polite to share!
