What Satan Meant For Evil . . .
Well! No one can say it hasn’t been a challenge!! There is no doubt that your life has been radically changed in these times of social distancing and quarantine. Yet the one thing that should never change is how we live our Spiritual life. Of course, we should always remain connected to God and that’s as simple as it has ever been to accomplish. Yet the one thing that has been a challenge, and something we have had to be a bit creative to make happen, has been our spiritual connection with one another. Now, while it may be more difficult, it’s certainly not impossible, and it may be more important than ever.
During this time so many people are feeling lost and lonely, they need someone to talk to, someone with whom they can share their struggles and fears. Those of us who are remaining connected are no doubt sensing this, and are being motivated in our times of devotion to meet the need. We find ourselves looking for, and finding ways to reach out and share the love of Christ. Let me take a second to tell you how blessed we are, and how pleased I am (not in ourselves, but in God) that here at The Message we were prepared to help many in the Body Of Christ stay connected during this difficult time.
Now, as we prayerfully see Covid coming to an end, one of the most incredible things resulting from this challenge is that people are more practiced and creative than ever before when looking for ways to connect with others spiritually. What an incredible positive from such a horrible situation! Before Covid, I can’t tell you the number of times when sharing how our online gatherings worked, people would say “does that really work?”. Well now much of the Church has experienced the reality and joy of being able to connect with anyone, anytime, anywhere in the world digitally! Imagine if the Apostles had enjoyed such a possibility, such reach, such convenience, how they have used this powerful tool for the sharing of the Gospel? Well, I guess it doesn’t really matter what they would have done, because they did all they could do and lived their faith to the fullest. Now it’s time for us to do the same. So let’s allow our devotion to continue to move us to do all we can do, to use every possible means to reach out with the love and life of Christ, and then we will be able to stand back and watch what . . .
. . .God meant for Good!
